Proactive Living.

What could Poactive Living do for you?

Well, have you ever wished that:

  • You were living a successful, happy and rewarding life?
  • You had time for your family and for the things that are important to you?
  • Could be doing what you've always wanted to?
  • Had the right balance between you personal and working life?
  • Were living your life to your full potential?
  • Were loving what you do and doing what you love?
  • Could stop procrastinating and take decisive action?
  • Were living the life you desire?

If you answered yes to one or more of the above questions then perhaps there are things in your life you would like to change.

All too often we spend our lives being controlled by external events. Business deals fall through, friends and loved ones hurt or upset us or something happens that brings back memories of things that happened to us in the past. Such situations or events cause thoughts and feeling that can either empower or imobilise us. What we sometimes fail to realise is that these situations or events are not the problem, it is that way we react to those situations. Proactive Living puts YOU in control rather than making you a "victim of circumstances"

In life we often have know where we want to be but all too often success eludes us. It is like trying to complete jigsaw puzzle when we have lost the box and have no picture of what the completed puzzle is like. It is all in there, we can see all the pieces but have no idea of how to fit them together. We end up confused, mixed up with no clear sense of how we can complete the task in hand. Proactive Living will allow you to put all of the pieces together enabling you to see the whole picture.

It can be used in any area of you life, business or personal. It can enable you to deal with fears, phobias, improve careers and enhance relationships. In fact there are no areas where Proactive Living will not improve things for you.

It's your life you deserve it to be the best it can be.

Proactive

The term proactive was brought into the public domain by Viktor Frankl in his book Mans Search For Meaning. He used the term to describe a person that took responsibility for thier own life rather than blaming other people or external circumstances. He also stated that important personal qualities were courage, perseverance, individual responsibility and  the ability to recognise that there are always choices regardles of the situation or context.

The term proactive was further popularized in 1989 Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

“If you’re proactive, you don’t have to wait for circumstances or other people to create perspective expanding experiences. You can consciously create your own.” - Stephen R. Covey
